Preserving our Karting Heritage

To actively promote our karting heritage from the Golden Era of British Karting, 1959 to 1982.  


To collect, collate and preserve this history to leave a legacy to future karting generations.


To achieve this we will organise and host events and maintain this website for the enjoyment of our membership.  

Historic karting evolved from enthusiasts who attended Shenington KRC's fortieth anniversary race meeting in June 2000 and, following that event, historic karting grew rapidly with The British Historic Kart Club being formed in 2005.


This club now has over 350 members, and has become a recognised branch of karting in both the UK and Europe.
